In the world of beauty, products are created and churned out endlessly. There’s always something new that claims to do something that no other product has done, but it’s not very often when products live up to all they claim to be.
However, amongst the many new releases, you are bound to find a hidden gem; enter Cover FX Custom Cover Drops.
Marketed as concentrated pigment “boosters” this bottle allows you to take full control of your base products and gives you the power to custom-tailor to suit your requirements.
With 24 shades to choose from ranging from very fair to deep skin tones, you are bound to find your perfect shade.
You can add the drops to almost anything. You know that wonderful foundation you have that’s a little too light for you right now? Go grab it, add 1-3 drops (depending on the coverage you want) and make it work for you. Not feeling foundation, or even a BB cream? Take your moisturiser, once again add the amount of drops you want and voila, you have a light base for you that’s going to give you just the right amount of coverage.
Remember, this literally is pigment in a bottle – your possibilities are endless. You can blend the product in to facial oils, serums, moisturiers, lotions, gels, foundations, concealers and sunscreen.
According to Cover FX, a single drop will provide light coverage, two will provide medium coverage and three-four will provide full coverage – after testing this I can confirm it to be accurate.
There is genius inside this bottle and if you experiment, I think you’ll be very pleased with what you can create for yourself.
Do I think the price is justified for the product? In this instance, I do. It will last you quite some time as you only need a tiny amount to alter your desired products to cater for your needs. Plus, you get to tailor your favourite base products to possibly create something that is truly unique for you and gives you your flawless base.
Cover FX have done a fantastic job with these drops as it truly is a unique product, not to forget – one that actually lives up to its claims.
On your next trip to House of Fraser or Sephora, I would definitely reccomend you go take a look at these drops. I am certain you will not be disappointed.
